It’s been a long, hard year! One of the hardest years of my life but I have created things and gone places I never thought possible as a hair stylist! Here is a retrospective of the year and bring on 2013!!!!!!
There is so so sooooooo much more I wish I could show you!!! But I’m waiting for publications and so cannot…however know that I’m working away creating new hair ideas for you every day and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year xxxxxx
This is a shoot that model Emma Lou and I put together just to have fun and make great pictures! We spent the day listening to great music, making new hair creations and producing banging pictures!! Not a bad way to spend a day! Hope you like what we came up with as much as we do!!!

I’ve just realised that I never updated my blog with Brighton Fashion Week 2012!!!! Can’t believe it! It really was once of the most amazing events i’ve taken part in so far! I got to go down with people I truly admire! The amazing Jenivieve Berlin Millenary, Obscure Couture and the one and only Samantha McEwen from Isolated Heroes, who I was commissioned to design some hair for to compliment her banging new collection!!!
Sam was showing at the prestigious Zeitgeist show and we were also going to fit in a guerilla style shoot down on Brighton Pier! It was AMAZING!!!! Here are some pictures from the show and i’ll update the pics from our shoot asap! Hope you like!!

So it’s been really exciting here at Hair For Heroes HQ!!! I was recently asked to custom make a smaller more manageable version of the Hero Bow for young Jazz and RnB singer Tallia Storm for her red carpet appearance at the Teen Choice Awards in LA. Tallia took fearlessly to the red carpet in her hair creation!! So proud to see it go down so well!

It’s finally here! I know it’s taken me a lot longer than I expected from shooting to editing to showing you all but I promise that I have been working non stop since shooting! But more of that to come later! Here is a selection of my favourite creations from the shoot! Some were shot on film by one of my favourite photographers of all time Kirstin Anna Kubczynski Kerr and some were done digitally by Tony Downs who jumped in to help us out at a crucial time when the light was beginning to fail us!
So here it is – my vision on a plate. A big massive thank you to all the models involved, I know it was a long, long day and you were so patient! To make-up artist Lynsey C Reilly and her team for doing such a great job! To the wonderful Tammy from DIY Nails for providing killer nails! NOT HAIR FOR A LONG TIME, HAIR FOR A GOOD TIME
So I am putting together all the preparations for my Hair For Heroes look book and I thought it would be easier to put my mood board on here as a blog post so that anyone wanting to get involved can come here and have a look. I need both Guy and Girl models (and when I say models I mean ANYONE that is fabulous and into my vision) – It can be temporary colour to permanent. Not everyone has to get their hair cut but one or two people looking for a change will be great! Also it’s me! So there will be A LOT of wig work and just straight up styling!
This is my mood board so this is not what anything is going to look like hair wise – this is the vibe, the vision, the attitude, the texture, the colours, the bare bones of what I want to achieve. This is just my inspiration to give you an idea of what I would like to create. So my business Hair For Heroes is finally up and running…now don’t get me wrong it is in it’s very early stages, I still have to find a property that isn’t going to cost me an arm and a leg, but it was time to seperate business life from personal life and what better way than to announce to the world the name of my new business!! Can’t give too much away at the moment but could be working with the biggest name in nails and the biggest name in make-up! We are going to blow your socks off Glasgow!
